Our Policies

• Your garbage receptacle (can) must be placed by the road on your scheduled pickup day by 6:30 a.m. to ensure pickup for that scheduled day. Trucks are not on a fixed schedule.
• Residential services include a 95-gallon can (garbage receptacle) which will be emptied once a week per household.
• Collection is limited to household trash only! We cannot accept construction debris, dead animals, hazardous waste, metal, or brush. We also cannot accept hazardous waste, such as paint cans, batteries, chemicals, ammunition, tires, or other items that would be hazardous to the environment.
• Please be mindful when putting items in your garbage receptacle (can) that are too heavy to lift (such as shingles, dirt, or other items that weigh too much). Damage to cans due to pulling or dragging with vehicles or ATVs will not be covered. A fee for a new can will apply.
• Payments are due on the first of the month. Late fees may be applied after the 10th of the month if an arrangement is not made and complied with. You can make payments through our office, the mail, or online only at www.trashbilling.com. Please do not leave payments on the can, as we cannot be responsible for payments not received in the office.
• Scheduled routes are delayed by one day after the observed holiday: Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day only. These are the only two observed holidays that we do not run the routes. For example, if Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday, and your regular pickup day is Wednesday, your pickup day will be Thursday that week. This also applies to bad weather days.
• Please keep us informed of any address or billing changes to keep your account current and in good standing. Note: if you move, please get in touch with us so we can collect cans. As long as you have our can, you will be responsible for monthly fees and applicable charges until you notify our office in writing or by calling (you may do this through the "Contact" page on our website).
